Being an unorganized Tumblarian who never add tags, I always had problems finding posts on tumblr--especially when I only know what its post type is. As a personal quest to find catharsis, I created getByPostType in order to help me find these posts. Side effects include being able to listen to all video and audio posts, re-discover inspiration and funny anecdotes from my wise quote posts, and other amazing tidbits Tumblr allows us to do!
On the technical end, getByPostType was a project of curiosity. It is made only with jQuery and CSS3. No images were used (except those supplied by outside source).
None of this could be accomplished without amazing helps from netTuts, Colorbox, Simurai, Kevin Luck, my brother & many more amazing gurus.
